Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about creating, assigning, and grading with Worksheet Builder.
General
What exactly is Worksheet Builder?
It’s one place to create, transform, assign, and grade your classroom materials - and plan them into full lessons and units. Not just a worksheet generator, but the whole workflow around it.
Do I have to start from scratch?
No. Upload the PDFs, docs, and worksheets you already use, and Worksheet Builder turns them into interactive, auto-graded assignments. Nothing to rebuild.
What grades and subjects does it work with?
All of K-12, every subject. Whatever you already teach, you can bring it in and build on it.
What does the beta cost?
Nothing. The beta is completely free, and there’s no credit card to join the waitlist. When pricing comes later, waitlist members hear first.
When does the beta open?
Soon. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment it’s ready - early access goes to the list first.
For Teachers
Can I turn my existing worksheets into assignments?
Yes - that’s the core of it. Upload a PDF or doc and Worksheet Builder converts it into an interactive, auto-graded assignment. Your district materials, TpT resources, and old favorites all work.
What kinds of questions can it grade automatically?
Supported question types - multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and more - grade the moment a student submits. You can always adjust anything by hand or grade open responses yourself.
Can I differentiate the same assignment for different students?
Yes. Spin up easier and harder versions of the same worksheet, so every student gets work that fits without you rebuilding it from scratch.
How does the Lesson Builder fit in?
Once you’ve built your worksheets and assignments, the Lesson Builder organizes them into units, weeks, and full-year plans - so you can sequence everything and reuse it next year.
What does it cost during the beta?
Nothing. The beta is free, and joining the waitlist takes no credit card. When pricing arrives later, waitlist members hear first.
Schools & Districts
How does Worksheet Builder work for a whole school or district?
Admins can bring teachers on together, share materials and templates across classrooms, and see progress roll up by class, grade, or building — so everyone’s working from the same foundation.
Is student data kept private and secure?
Protecting student data is a priority. Worksheet Builder is being built to align with FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR requirements for K-12, with privacy considered from the start rather than added later.
Does it work with the tools and curriculum we already use?
Teachers can upload your district-provided materials, existing PDFs, and purchased resources — there’s no need to rebuild what you already have. SIS integrations are expanding so grades can flow into your existing systems.
How do teachers get started?
There’s nothing to rebuild from scratch — teachers upload what they already have, assign it, and let grading run itself. Because it’s built around how they already work, getting started doesn’t require a heavy training lift.
What does it cost?
It’s completely free during the beta. When we introduce pricing later, schools and districts on the waitlist hear first — and we’ll work with you on a plan that fits a building or district.
About
What is Worksheet Builder, exactly?
It’s an instructional workflow platform — one place to create materials, turn them into interactive assignments, grade them, plan them into lessons, and track progress. Not a worksheet generator or a quiz tool, but the whole workflow connected.
Why are you building this?
Because teachers are asked to do more every year with the same number of hours. We think the work of creating, differentiating, grading, and planning shouldn’t take a dozen disconnected tools — so we’re building one that fits how classrooms actually run.
Who is it for?
K-12 teachers across every subject, and the schools and districts behind them. Whatever you teach, you can bring your existing materials in and build on them.
Is it available yet?
Not quite — we’re in pre-launch. The beta opens soon and it’s completely free. Join the waitlist and you’ll be among the first in when it’s ready.
How do you handle student data?
Privacy is a priority from the start. Worksheet Builder is being built to align with FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR requirements for K-12, rather than treating data protection as an afterthought.
