Worksheet Builder Terms of Service

Worksheet Builder provides tools that allow educators to create, assign, manage, and assess interactive worksheets and learning materials for educational purposes.

The Service is intended for use by:

• Educators
• Schools and school districts
• Students under the direction of an educator or School

Educator Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an educator account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for activity occurring under your account.

Student Accounts

• Student access is provided under the supervision of an Educator or School.
• Students may not create independent accounts unless explicitly permitted by the Service.
• Schools and Educators are responsible for managing student access and permissions.

Student data privacy is critically important to us.

• Worksheet Builder processes Student Data solely for educational purposes.
• Student Data is owned and controlled by the School.
• We act as a data processor and, where applicable, as a “school official” under FERPA.
• We do not sell Student Data or use it for advertising.

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Notice and Student Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for non-educational or unlawful purposes
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
• Attempt to access accounts or data not assigned to you
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security features
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your Content

• Educators retain ownership of content they create or upload.
• By using the Service, you grant Worksheet Builder a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

Our Content

• Workshee Builder owns all rights to the Service, including software, interfaces, and branding.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.

Some features of the Service may use artificial intelligence or automated processing.

• AI features are designed to support educational workflows (e.g., worksheet generation, grading assistance).
• AI outputs should be reviewed by Educators before use with students.
• Worksheet Builder does not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content.

The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Google Classroom).

• Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.
• Worksheet Builder is not responsible for third-party services or data practices outside our control.

If the Service includes paid features:

• Fees, billing terms, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:

• These Terms are violated
• Use poses a security or legal risk
• Required by law

Upon termination, Student Data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice and DPA.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, Worksheet Builder shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Worksheet Builder from claims arising from:

• Your misuse of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws or rights of others

We may update these Terms from time to time.

• Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Worksheet Builder is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
